Welcome, Join Us...

This is a new site, in it's very earliest form, so please bear with me.. Since renovating our house, where I installed Cat6 cabiling to every room, my desire to centralise everything in to one place a "Node Central" or "Node Zero" grew.
For me this route is the future, why have duplicates of certain things, when you can place everything in one central location and allow it to be fed and accessed from anywhere in the house..
Node - DEFINITION...
...In a network, a node is a connection point, either a redistribution point or an end point for data transmissions. In general, a node has programmed or engineered capability to recognize and process or forward transmissions to other nodes.
Central - DEFINITION...
..multiple meanings, 1. in, at, or near the center. 2. of or forming the center 3. equally distant or accessible from various points 4. most important; main; basic; principal. 5. of or having to do with a single source that controls all activity in an organization or system
The intent of this site is to share ideas in the area of creating your own 'Central Node' and where possible direct people to content and service that can help them achieve their centralisation goals.
Creating A Community...
In order to try and get this site populated with content, I would be interested to hear from anyone who has or still is working on creating their own personal Central Node.

To share your experiences or ask any questions and alos, if I can set something up, I'll try and find out if there is away for people to post their own pictures. I have set up a forum (see the link top right).
